Job summary

Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) seeks a Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruitment for our growing engineering teams. You will source creatively, screen candidates, and manage the candidate experience from first contact to offer.

You’ll partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand needs, set hiring plans, and drive hiring metrics while upholding OFCCP/AAP compliance and confidentiality. You will also handle agency relationships and special projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of corporate recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting.
• Successful track record of directly sourcing passive candidates.
• Experience partnering with key stakeholders/hiring managers to drive recruitment.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, business or a related field, preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality; experience with ATS systems (Greenhouse preferred).
• OFCCP, AAP and EEOC compliance knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle recruiting identifying, sourcing and engaging candidates through creative and innovative tactics.
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand needs and identify the right talent; consult on job specs, hiring plans and scorecards.
• Pre-screen/interview candidates to assess skills and fit; act as primary contact during recruitment.
• Serve as primary contact for external recruiting agencies; coordinate searches and manage agency relationships.
• Implement and enforce recruiting policies and procedures.
• Provide status updates to stakeholders via meetings, email, and reports.
• Advise employees and managers on best interviewing practices.
• Work on special projects as needed.
