Job summary

JANUS Research Group seeks an Engineering (General) V with active Secret clearance to lead and deliver tactical network engineering, integration, and documentation efforts at APG, MD.

Candidates must have a BS in Engineering or related field and 10+ years of experience in tactical network design, integration, and readiness processes, plus strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across PM C2 Transport and related offices.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Testing, or related field.
• Discipline: Engineering or related scientific/technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and document engineering, integration, and readiness processes for CPE C2IN Tactical Network systems.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for Configuration item baselines.
• Participate in and assist with the coordination of the integrated product team and other technical forums at the PM C2 Transport, CPE C2IN, and subordinate agency level.
• Coordinate with program, project, and product management offices to assess the efficacy of engineering and integration processes.
• Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria; make minor adaptations and modifications as necessary.
• Assist in the management, maintenance, and automation of Configuration Management tools.
• Maintain proper version controls of software deliverables.
• Oversee the delivery of software applications in test and deployment environments.
• Analyze configuration issues and propose appropriate resolutions.
• Participate in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system.
• Bring knowledge of Army organization structure and Unit Task Organization concepts.
• Effectively communicate and lead integrated project teams.
• Provide independent and professional support on portions of complex projects.
