We are looking fora strong leader to join our program in support of the U.S. Navy. Come join the team at the Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) Wallops Island. Typical responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Oversight, planning, executing and completing various installations, removals, modifications of buildings, hardware, cabinets and infrastructure of Tactical Facilities to support various US Naval Combat Systems.
  • Technical and management oversight of Plumbers, Welders, Electricians and General Maintenance employees of a Services Contract Act contract.
  • Directly reporting to the Work Area 1 Engineering and Analysis Chief Engineer on daily matters that support the infrastructure and integration of US Naval Combat Systems for Surface Combat Systems Center Wallops Island, VA.
  • Drives towards performance objectives as established by our engineering and contract Leadership.
  • Develops employees and motivates them leveraging BAE Systems tools.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Typically, a bachelor's degree and 5 years' work experience or 15 years of equivalent work experience and designs building facilities, equipment, and machinery. Coordinates with building contractors and ensures building safety and adherence to applicable building codes, skills required to perform the oversight and delivery of Tactical Facilities capabilities in support of the Mission.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Master's degree and 25 years in designs building facilities, equipment, and machinery. Coordinates with building contractors and ensures building safety and adherence to applicable building codes.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $60076 - $102130

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
