Aether Biomedical in the United States is seeking a Tableau Engineer to join a new data team and build centralized, scalable dashboards that drive executive decision-making across investment performance and portfolio data.

You will design data sources and semantic layers in Snowflake, collaborate with business teams to define KPIs, and continually optimize dashboard performance while ensuring data accuracy. Flexible hybrid work options are available to support a global schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Tableau development experience.
• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
• Experience using DBT as the data source layer.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling understanding (semantic/consumption).
• Proven ability to build executive dashboards from business requirements.
• Familiarity with financial metrics and investment terminology; fintech domain experience.

Project overview

This role requires an overlap with EST working schedule (until 1 pm EST at least for EU and APAC regions).

Position overview

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in a strategic initiative to build a centralized, scalable data ecosystem. This role focuses on the visualization layer, transforming complex data architectures into intuitive, high-impact dashboards that support analytics and C-level executive decision-making. The Tableau Engineer will join a newly forming team of data specialists, working at the intersection of engineering and business intelligence. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated visualization solutions that provide clear insights into investment performance and portfolio data.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize sophisticated dashboards and visualizations using Tableau.

Requirements

• 5+ years of dedicated Tableau development experience.


• Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehouses.


• Experience utilizing DBT models as the primary data source layer.


• Strong SQL skills and a deep understanding of data modeling principles (Semantic layer and consumption layer).


• Proven ability to build executive-level dashboards and translate business requirements into strategic visual insights.


• Understanding of core financial metrics and investment terminology, experience within the fintech domain.


• Nice to haveProfessional experience within the wealth management or financial services sector.


• Familiarity with data schemas from Addepar, Salesforce, or NetSuite.
