Job summary

Resmed is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to build scalable analytics platforms and Tableau environments that empower clinical and business teams to make data-driven decisions. You will partner with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to implement end-to-end analytics solutions.

The role focuses on Tableau architecture, performance tuning, and Python automation, with responsibilities spanning CI/CD, governance, and cloud administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data infrastructure, or BI platform development.
• Advanced proficiency in Tableau development, architecture, and dashboard optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau Cloud/Server administration.
• Strong Python programming and automation skills.
• Practical experience with CI/CD processes and GitHub or GitLab workflows.
• Solid understanding of SQL and Snowflake.
• Familiarity working within SaaS or software product environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate the deployment of Tableau dashboards, SQL scripts, and Python code.
• Build scalable Tableau architecture supporting enterprise reporting and governed data use across teams.
• Optimize dashboard performance by refining data sources, extracts, and queries for efficient loads.
• Administer Tableau Cloud environments, including configuration, upgrades, monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Develop Python automation tools for Tableau asset management, performance monitoring, and analytics workflows.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to design reusable pipelines and transformations.
