Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a People Leader to drive Test & Evaluation across ground, flight, and novel tech programs. You will lead test engineers, mentor senior staff, and partner with program managers and pilots to complete end-to-end testing, including safety and risk management.

You will contribute hands-on as needed and work within the Anduril Intelligence Systems lines, shaping staffing, processes, and resources for high-stakes defense programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years hands-on test engineering exp. with 2+ years leadership.
• Ability to travel up to 25% and beyond as needed.
• Top Secret US Security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Experience with DoD, Government Cyber Commands/Agencies, or IC.
• Leadership focus with ability to guide teams first, then manage.
• Experience producing customer-facing test deliverables (plans, reports, data).
• Experience as test conductor/director or similar role.
• Experience at government or private test sites/ranges.
• Experience safety planning or risk management.
• Ability to translate guidance into actionable results.

Responsibilities

• Own all results of your team, including successes and failures.
• Manage test engineers to execute end-to-end testing for diverse programs.
• Provide leadership and mentorship while supporting at least one program hands-on.
• Coordinate with other Test and Evaluation teams and pilots to meet testing needs.
• Maintain awareness of program status to deconflict resources with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business line leadership to assess testing support needs.
• Inform hiring decisions based on skill requirements from business lines.
• Evolve organizational structure to match engineering needs across lines.
• Address issues by coordinating solutions with stakeholders.
• Advise leadership on test capabilities and site requirements for briefings.
• Oversee administrative requirements for team members (time, PTO, finances).
