Job summary

Responsibilities include KPI monitoring, budget forecasting, procurement, and bid preparation in collaboration with Marketing. A strong background in utilities and design standards is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Science, or related field or equivalent training and experience.
• 10+ years of Project Management experience in Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Substation or other Utilities projects.
• Experience in public utility design and construction.
• Strong skills in MS Office, Primavera P6, SmartSheet or related software.
• PMP Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, schedule, and budget of individual projects.
• Work with matrixed team to provide tasks and deliverables on time.
• Provide clear direction of next steps to project stakeholders.
• Monitor KPI’s, critical path, issues management, change management.
• Provide analysis, budget forecasts, and metrics for individual projects.
• Primary point of contact for internal/external project stakeholders.
• Manage construction, procurement, invoice preparation, and project documentation.
• Continuously build and maintain a network of third-party consultants and vendors.
• Lead project acquisition efforts including identifying opportunities and working with Marketing on bids/interviews.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of client and industry standards related to design and construction.
• Demonstrate abilities to negotiate solutions to client concerns or project overages.
