Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Aurora, CO seeks a Ground Senior Ops Training Engineer – Level 4 to lead and design training products for mission operators. You will support the product vision, manage day-to-day execution, and serve as senior technical authority on the Operations & Training work stream.

You will collaborate with SMEs, engineers and stakeholders to deliver on-time, high-quality training solutions and ensure alignment with CONOPS and system capabilities.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required at time of application.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years with a Master's; 4 years with a PhD.
• Experience developing training material per Instructional System Design processes.
• On-Console Command and Control Satellite Operations experience.
• Professional presentation skills with Space Vehicle material.
• Ground System anomaly troubleshooting and resolution experience.
• Agile Development Processes experience.
• Project Management and Scheduling experience.
• Commanding knowledge and experience in Space Vehicle Health and Safety.
• Satellite simulator and ground system experience.
• MS Office Suite proficiency.
• Team Leadership Skills.
• Occasional travel may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Partner with SMEs and technology experts to execute the systems engineering statement of work.
• Work directly with stakeholders, designers and engineers to deliver quality products and features.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to execute product strategy and roadmap.
• Lead training efforts to timely delivery and successful results.
• Help manage product backlog, iteration planning and user story elaboration.
• Contribute to Operational Training product development and maturity.
• Coordinate with SMEs to ensure instructional design meets delivery content.
• Work closely with Procedure developers on the Operations & Training Team for input.
• Navigate complex stakeholder environment and maintain standards while delivering results.
