ZipStaff is seeking a Senior Systems Technical Analyst (Integrations / BPM) for an on-site role in Jersey City, NJ. The contract (W2 through ZipStaff) focuses on owning integration analysis across APIs, batch/file, ODBC, and BPM workflow documentation through the SDLC.

The ideal candidate will write functional/technical requirements, data maps, and interface designs, covering API, batch/data-loader, ODBC/database, and middleware patterns while supporting BPM design and data-flow validation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Systems Analyst/Technical Analyst or equivalent.
• Experience with API/file/batch data integrations and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document integration points across APIs, batch/file, ODBC, and middleware.
• Write functional and technical requirements, integration specs, data maps, and interface designs.
• Support BPM workflow design and upstream/downstream system interactions.
• Build knowledge of orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) for scheduling, dependencies, monitoring, and error handling.

Location: Jersey City, NJ (On-site).

Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099).

About the Opportunity

ZipStaff is seeking a Senior Systems Technical Analyst for the Capital Partners technology organization at a leading private banking and investment management firm in Jersey City.

You will own integration analysis—APIs, batch/file, ODBC, middleware—and BPM workflow documentation across the SDLC. This is a technical analyst seat, not a generic business analyst.

What You’ll Do:

• Analyze and document application, system, and platform integrations (data movement, orchestration, workflow).
• Write functional and technical requirements, integration specs, data maps, and interface designs.
• Cover API, batch/data-loader, ODBC/database, point-to-point, and middleware patterns.
• Support BPM workflow design and upstream/downstream system interaction.
• Build working knowledge of orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow): schedule, dependencies, monitor, error handling.
• Translate business needs into designs developers can build.
• Partner with developers and QA on integration testing and data-flow validation.
• Troubleshoot integration and data issues in lower and production environments.
• Keep methodology docs, workflows, and issue logs current.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years as a Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst, or equivalent.
• Strong integration and end-to-end data-flow analysis.
• Ability to turn business needs into technical specs and integration designs.
• APIs, file-based integrations, relational databases, and SQL.
• Agile delivery; SIT/UAT support.
• Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office (qTest a plus).
• Ability to work on-site in Jersey City, NJ.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Financial services, private banking, or investment management.
• SEI platforms, including SEI SWP Accounting.
• BPM / workflow platforms.
• Airflow or similar orchestration.
