Job summary

JMT Technology Group is seeking a Systems Security Manager to lead a security team and oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT security infrastructure. Responsibilities include managing security tools, coordinating incident response, and ensuring compliance with NIST, CMMC, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in IT security, with active clearance or ability to obtain one and certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT security.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security, and endpoint protection.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Manage and monitor security systems including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and SIEM tools.
• Lead vulnerability management and penetration testing efforts.
• Coordinate incident response and forensic investigations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (NIST, CMMC, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate security into system designs and operations.
• Manage security awareness training programs for employees.
• Supervise and mentor a team of security analysts and engineers.
• Prepare reports for senior leadership on security posture and incidents.
