Job summary

JMT Technology Group is seeking a Systems Security Manager to lead a team of security professionals and oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT security infrastructure. You will monitor security tools, respond to alerts, run monthly vulnerability reports, and coordinate with vendors to ensure service levels.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 10+ years of IT security experience, active clearance or ability to obtain, and certifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT security.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security, and endpoint protection.
• Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Manage and monitor security systems including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and SIEM.
• Lead vulnerability management and penetration testing efforts.
• Coordinate incident response and forensic investigations.
• Incident Triage.
• Ensure compliance with regulations (NIST, CMMC, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate security into design and operations.
• Manage security awareness training programs for employees.
• Supervise and mentor security analysts and engineers.
• Prepare reports on security posture and incidents for leadership.
