Society of Defense Financial Management seeks a Senior Technical Leader to steer systems security engineering for next-gen defense tech in Grand Rapids, MI. You’ll drive embedded/edge security, threat analysis, and RMF-based cyber defenses across complex platforms and government programs.

Responsibilities include leading security engineering efforts for embedded systems, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, and guiding the transition of emerging technologies into operational capabilities

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 15+ years in systems security engineering, threat intelligence/response, vulnerability assessment, or electronic attack disciplines.
• Strong technical communication and writing skills.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.

Responsabilidades

• Lead systems security engineering for embedded platforms, edge devices, and complex computing environments.
• Analyze cyber threats, assess vulnerabilities, and develop advanced defensive security solutions.
• Apply RMF and cybersecurity frameworks to mission-critical systems.
• Support electronic warfare and electromagnetic spectrum operations, including radar and GPS-denied environments.
• Drive cybersecurity initiatives involving embedded software, AI/ML, autonomous systems, and sensing tech.
• Collaborate with engineering and government customers to define requirements and transition tech into operations.
