Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Cyber Systems Security Engineer within the Program Protection Organization. You will provide embedded System Security Engineering across DoD weapon systems and design/mature security architectures and countermeasures for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control products.

The role requires DoD SDLC experience, embedded design, and an active or soon-to-be DoD Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship is required to start, with a potential interim clearance sponsor.

Qualifications

• Experience in the DoD systems development life-cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with embedded systems design, microcontroller programming, and RTOS.
• Implementing System Security requirements on DoD systems to meet U.S. government compliance.
• Experience supporting validation and verification of security requirements on DoD systems.
• Possess an approved DoD 8570 baseline certification for IAT/IAM Level II (CISSP, CAP, etc.) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and mitigating System Security threats/risks throughout the embedded Weapon System development life cycle.
• Validating SSE requirements decomposition, allocation and analysis for embedded Weapon Systems.
• Implementing SSE solutions hardware and software.
• Verifying implementation of SSE requirements.
• Designing and deploying SSE architectures and countermeasures to protect Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control products.
• Prototyping and testing System Security countermeasures against cyber-attacks.
