Nyla Technology Solutions is hiring a System Security Engineer to strengthen the security posture of U.S. Government networks in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will own security engineering, drive A&A processes, and coordinate with stakeholders to maintain mission systems securely.

The role requires active TS/SCI poly clearance and deep RMF/NIST experience, with responsibilities spanning COMSEC/INFOSEC activities and risk-based decision making. Join Nyla to impact national security programs.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of system security engineering principles and enterprise network security assessments.
• 5+ years IA/INFOSEC experience coordinating IA/INFOSEC/COMSEC activities in government environments.
• Expert knowledge of RMF process and tailoring NIST 800-53 controls.
• Ability to evaluate residual risk based on threats, vulnerabilities, and controls.
• Experience leading working groups, TEMs, and translating security requirements for technical teams.
• Familiarity with national agency systems and their security control implementations.
