Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Senior Technical Leader in Advanced Technology to guide systems security engineering for edge devices and embedded platforms within the ATO Emerging Technologies Team. You will shape strategies with product managers and stakeholders across Avionics to transition new cybersecurity capabilities into mission-ready architectures.

The role requires 10+ years in security engineering, risk assessment, and electronic attack knowledge, plus U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience in systems security engineering, threat intelligence and response, vulnerability assessment, and electronic attacks.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills tailored to broad variety of audiences.
• Willingness to travel (~25%).
• U.S. citizenship status and ability to obtain US Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in systems security engineering, particularly for edge devices and embedded platforms.
• Provide expertise in attack techniques, common and emerging threats, and develop defensive mitigation strategies at the logical and physical component level.
• Provide expertise in electronic warfare for RF spectrum dominance such as wireless communication, radar, and GPS-denied environments.
• Design, develop, and implement cybersecurity solutions in complex heterogeneous compute systems.
• Collaborate with diverse technical teams, business teams, and product managers to co-develop a strategy that facilitates the transition of new technology into the Avionics product portfolio.
• Collaborate with SMEs and engineers to provide complete and holistic solutions to customer requirements.
