Job summary

GE Aerospace in the United States is seeking an embedded cybersecurity engineer to develop robust security solutions for safety-critical aerospace systems. You will design and implement cybersecurity controls for embedded real-time engine controllers using C/C++, Python, and MATLAB/Simulink, and perform risk assessments per NIST/RTCA guidance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or STEM.
3+ years in software, electronics engineering, or embedded product security.
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop cybersecurity processes for documentation, risk management, and incident response.
Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments on embedded products.
Analyze architectures for cybersecurity risks and controls feasibility.
Select and implement cybersecurity controls to mitigate embedded risks.
Develop requirements for cybersecurity implementations in embedded, real-time engines.
Collaborate with external suppliers to ensure robust controls.
Create and execute test plans to validate security controls.
Ensure timely delivery of contract requirements with quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, software, and program management.
