Job summary

Shell Federal Credit Union in Deer Park, TX seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Administrator to design, implement, and maintain our network, servers, and security posture. You will manage Cisco components, virtualization platforms, and Microsoft services to ensure high availability and regulatory compliance.

The role requires deep expertise in Windows Server, AD, Exchange Online, SQL Server, and MS 365, with a focus on security, incident response, and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise Windows network and systems administration experience.
• Proven experience with LAN/WAN/WLAN design, virtualization, and enterprise deployments.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Services.
• Experience with Microsoft Exchange Online, SQL Server, and MS 365 design and administration.
• Proven ability to manage Cisco networking components (ASA/Firepower, switches, Meraki).
• Proficiency in network and server security, intrusion detection, and vulnerability remediation.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust security, hybrid cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and perimeter protection.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree or 8+ years of equivalent experience.
• Cisco CCNA cert required; CCNP a plus.
• Microsoft certifications preferred (MCSA/MCSE).
• VMware/Hyper‑V certs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, administer, maintain, and support Shell FCU’s network, servers, and infrastructure systems.
• Plan, install, configure, secure, maintain, and optimize network and server hardware, systems, SaaS, software, and virtualization.
• Drive innovation and roll out new technology systems with project management and documentation.
• Occasionally analyze and resolve end-user hardware and software issues and provide training.
• Maintain knowledge of and comply with all applicable rules and regulations including Bank Secrecy Act.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning, testing, and incident response scenarios.
• Design, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and manage LANs, WANs, VPNs, wireless networks, VLANs, and telephony systems.
• Manage daily operations of Cisco networking components for uptime.
