Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Engineer to perform multi-level requirement assessments, ensure traceability, and coordinate changes across THAAD-related subsystems. The role involves DOORS management, integrating with Radar, Launcher, and Fire Control teams, and supporting verification, validation, and program reviews.

The position requires DOORS experience, a security clearance, and a strong background in aerospace or defense systems.

Qualifications

• Systems engineering experience in requirements, verification, and validation.
• Experience with missile/defense/aerospace systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Assess requirements across system design updates and verification.
• Coordinate changes with Radar, THAAD Fire Control & Communications, Launcher, and other teams.
• Manage DOORS data and traceability for requirements and verifications.
• Track dependencies using MIS and JIRA to report progress.
• Support the transition of R&V activities and Iterative Engineering Technical Reviews (IETR).
