Job summary

Cricut is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in South Jordan, Utah, to lead the development of mechanical designs for consumer products. This role involves mentoring other engineers and applying deep engineering expertise to new and existing product designs.

With a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of experience, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing consumer-based products, proficient use of 3D CAD tools like CREO, and a knowledge of mechanical systems and materials.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applicable experience.
• Experience designing consumer-based products like electro-mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts for new products or improve existing products.
• Design mechanisms, drive systems, plastic housings, and components.
• Present and participate in design reviews and update designs as required.
• Mentor other engineers throughout the design cycle.
