Job summary

Tutor Perini Corporation in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a QC Inspector (Systems) to oversee quality control across electrical, mechanical, fire protection, communications, traction power, train control, and related subsystems on a heavy rail project.

The role reports to the QC Manager and coordinates with design engineers, contractors, OEM vendors, and client representatives to resolve interface conflicts, review test plans, and ensure readiness for SIT, LFAT, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in systems within the transit, rail, or transportation infrastructure sector.
• Experience on LA Metro projects is preferred.
• Proven experience with heavy rail systems and integration testing.
• Understanding of electrical, communications, traction power, and SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Primary QC inspection function focusing on rail systems and integration of all technical systems.
• Monitor system interfaces and ensure proper documentation and ICDs.
• Coordinate with engineers, vendors, and client representatives to resolve interface conflicts.
• Review test plans, procedures, and interface designs for compliance.
• Monitor readiness for LFAT, SIT, revenue service simulations, and commissioning.
