Servomex is seeking a Systems Project Engineer in Sugar Land, TX to own awarded contracts from kickoff to final acceptance. You will transform bid concepts into detailed engineering solutions, including drawings, BoMs, and test plans, while leading technical discussions with customers and suppliers.

You will coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams to ensure on-time delivery, manage risks, and support FAT/SAT deployments.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong understanding of the full project lifecycle from award through acceptance.
• Experience delivering complex technical projects across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to discuss instrumentation, electrical interfaces and system architectures.
• Experience producing engineering drawings, technical calculations, BoMs and controlled documentation.
• Experience in configuration-controlled environments and document control processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from award to final customer acceptance.
• Translate bid designs into detailed engineering deliverables (drawings, BoMs, configurations, wiring details).
• Create and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Maintain design integrity and configuration control; manage design changes through the Design Authority process.
• Lead customer kick-off meetings and act as technical contact.
• Coordinate with systems integrators and suppliers; obtain quotations and clarify requirements.
• Support design reviews and ensure releases for manufacture.
• Develop and maintain project test plans and acceptance criteria for FAT/SAT.
