Job summary
General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Systems Engineer Principal to lead a team in designing, building, and implementing a secure private cloud platform for a SOCOM customer on site. The role emphasizes architecture, security posture, and migration programs to meet strict classified information requirements.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, while ensuring DoW compliance and operational excellence in a high-stakes environment.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree required.
- 7+ years of related experience.
- US Citizenship required.
- Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration and Windows Server platforms (2016/2019/2022).
- Experience with PowerShell Scripting and systems automation.
- Experience performing troubleshooting for technicians and/or end users utilizing Service Now ticketing system.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers and administrators in developing and executing a comprehensive cloud strategy for a SOCOM private cloud.
- Define the architecture, security posture and operational processes for the private cloud.
- Oversee application migration efforts and ensure alignment with DoW regulations for handling classified information.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver a resilient, secure hybrid cloud solution.
