Job summary

AMD Austin is seeking a dynamic Systems Design Engineer to join a high-visibility team responsible for system performance and performance/watt modeling. You will help shape next-generation CPUs and accelerators, partnering with product and engineering groups to deliver high-quality compute solutions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and automate System Performance & Performance/Watt modeling
• Direct system-level data collection to feed performance & performance/watt modeling
• Forecasting system performance across segments and architectures with a time horizon of 5+ years
• Driving technical innovation to improve AMD’s system performance and performance/watt capabilities
• Working closely with product planning teams to define future system performance requirements
• Engaging in other software/hardware modeling frameworks
• Leading collaborative approach with multiple teams including future workloads
