• 5+ years in production operations support for online, batch, and file transfer systems.
• 3+ years in batch job scheduling and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provides senior-level enterprise IT operations support.
• Coordinates with technical teams for system availability and issue resolution.
• Maintains and updates operational documentation, including runbooks.

Skills

Enterprise systems monitoring and incident response across Linux and Windows environments

Production operations support for online, batch, and file transfer systems

Batch job scheduling, execution, and failure analysis using enterprise schedulers (BMC Control-M or equivalent)

Root cause analysis and troubleshooting of system, application, and infrastructure issues

ITIL-aligned operational support

Service desk and customer support skills

Operational documentation development and maintenance

Ability to work independently while coordinating with cross-functional technical teams

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to support a 24x7 operations environment

UNIX / Linux administration experience, including CRON scheduling and shell scripting (BASH, Perl)

Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and alerting tools

Knowledge of application lifecycle support and production readiness practices
