Job summary

Forward Slash Technology in the United States seeks a senior technical leader to guide complex infrastructure, cloud, and security work across client environments. You will oversee advanced diagnosis, design, remediation, and major-incident response, while driving standards and governance.

You will mentor Systems & Network Engineers, develop runbooks and architectures, and collaborate with the Technical Services Manager and project leadership to ensure secure, reliable service delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of systems, network, cloud, or managed-services engineering with leadership.
• Advanced capability across Microsoft server/cloud platforms, identity, networking, security, and troubleshooting.
• Proven track record leading high-risk changes, major incidents, and knowledge transfer.
• Strong client communication, governance, and escalation judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex infrastructure design, migrations, recoverability, lifecycle, standardization, and technical-debt reduction.
• Serve as senior technical lead for major incidents and escalations, coordinating remediation and risk containment.
• Develop architectures, runbooks, change records, test criteria, diagrams, and standards.
• Provide advanced engineering across Microsoft server, Azure, M365, AD/Entra ID, virtualization, network, backup/DR, and monitoring.
• Mentor engineers, conduct peer review, and support governance and knowledge transfer.
