Base pay range

$161,000.00/yr - $216,000.00/yr

nou Systems, a Hemisphere IDIQ awardee, is pleased to announce the contingent opening for a Senior Systems & Logistics Engineer who will join our Engineering Services team in El Segundo, CA or Colorado Springs, CO and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces.

Responsibilities :

• Provides Systems Engineering expertise across the entire lifecycle from concept development to operations (for either Space-based, Ground-based space systems and, or the Ground Systems/Command & Control services that operate those capabilities)
• Provides technical oversight of development efforts (i.e., design, development, manufacturing, assembly, integration, test, production and sustainment) whether they are traditional acquisition methods (e.g., waterfall, spiral, etc) or agile/prototype
• Develops operational concepts, requirements, and architectural designs; evolves system architectures, conducts and analyzes requirements flow down, proposes verification methodologies and mitigation approaches
• Conducts model-based systems engineering plus modeling, simulation and analysis as needed
• Conducts and maintains Configuration Management of the program technical baseline
• Manages risk management processes and methods for identifying and adjudicating program risk; conducts analysis to identify program risk areas and recommends/implements risk reduction measures
  
  
  

Basic Qualifications:

• You must have a Master’s Degree in STEM field with 10 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in modeling and simulation on a myriad of platforms and in interpreting results; experience with integrating numerous different modeling and simulation tools across multiple organizations
• Background in handling logistics and sustainment of large integrated systems (space systems preferred)
• Experience with building and maintaining system risk program, including risk process definition, risk identification, and detailed technical risk burn down plans
• Must have direct applicable experience in 1. space control; 2. network integration; 3. RF engineering; 4. computer science; 5. electronic warfare; or 6. systems engineering
• You must have an active TS clearance, with SCI eligibility
• You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position
