Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Senior Systems Integrator to support the PICRD II contract in Colorado Springs, CO. The role focuses on installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining classified and unclassified networks and system management tools, with duties spanning Solaris, Linux, Windows, VMware, and Mac environments.

The candidate will manage network architecture and patch capabilities, uphold security and redundancy per government standards, and provide Tier 0-2 support for HQ USSPACECOM systems,

Qualifications

• BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from ABET/CAE recognized program.
• Minimum of six (6) years of technical experience performing the duties described.
• Meets the KSATs defined in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework for Work Role 441 (NIST: OM-NET-001).
• Experience establishing network architecture, networking, and patch capabilities.
• Experience maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies per government and accreditation standards.
• Experience with Solaris, Linux, Windows OS/servers, VMware, and multiple Mac OS versions.

Responsibilities

• Provide successful installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of all networks and system management tools.
• Execute network architecture, networking, and patch capabilities.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies per standards.
• Follow operational O&M checklists with associated service checklists.
• Provide Tier 0-2 support for HQ USSPACECOM systems and networks.
• Interface with external agencies on WAN and long-haul communications issues.
• Ensure quality workmanship and documentation of the state of communications infrastructure.
