Job summary

Atoms is seeking a Senior Systems Integration and Test Engineer to own how new vehicle platforms enter our fleet. You will take a platform variant from first article to fleet release, owning the integration sequence, the validation criteria, and the documented correlation between bench results and vehicle behavior.

The role spans multiple platforms with hardware, compute, and software; regular time in the garage and around vehicles is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in systems integration, diagnostics, or hardware-software interfaces on vehicles.
• Experience with ADAS (L4 program or production) is preferred.
• Ability to diagnose failures spanning hardware and software with root-cause analysis.
• Hands-on correlation of hardware symptoms with telemetry and bus data.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle networks (CAN, CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet) and DTCs.

Responsibilities

• Own first integration and bring-up for new platform variants and compute changes.
• Turn first article builds into repeatable commissioning procedures for technicians.
• Define vehicle-level validation criteria prior to releases.
• Document bench-to-vehicle correlations for each platform.
• Lead calibration, timing, and data integrity across platforms.
• Drive system debugging across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software domains.
• Create integration guides, troubleshooting trees, and go/no-go criteria.
