Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Bethesda, MD, is seeking a senior Systems Development, Engineering, and Integration & Test leader to design, implement, test, and document complex space-ground solutions. You will synthesize requirements, drive test plans, and coordinate with programs and other organizations to ensure robust performance.

Applicants should bring 10+ years in systems development or I&T, strong communication skills, and prior satellite ground systems experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 10+ years work experience in Systems Development, Engineering or Integration and Test.
• Experience in planning, system integration, verification and validation, or formal development/qualification.
• Prior experience with satellite ground systems design, development, or integration & test.
• Strong written and verbal communication to present status to management and customers.
• Experience leading test and integration teams.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for integration and testing of components and systems.
• Develops test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and subsystems.
• Coordinates testing activities with programs and other organizations.
• Analyzes test results and prepares evaluation reports validating system performance.
• Writes discrepancy reports and performs regression testing for fixes.
