Job summary

Terran Orbital is seeking a Sr. Systems Integration Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team that builds, integrates, and tests space vehicles at subsystem and system levels.

The role reports to the Manager, Systems Integration & Test and involves hands-on work on the weekend shift (Fri-Sun) from 6:00AM to 7:00PM. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, manufacturing, or electrical engineering, 5+ years of relevant experience, and U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in systems integration or space-related engineering.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design vehicle assembly process and procedures.
• Design and develop tools and hardware to enable vehicle assembly and testing.
• Develop full testing campaigns ensuring vehicle integrity of electronic and mechanical systems.
• Vehicle integration build flow and test concept of operations.
• Evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability and integration into sub-systems.
• Interface with engineers and technicians to advance to larger-scale manufacturing and automation.
• Develop and refine manufacturing assembly procedures based on lessons learned.
