Job summary

Global C2 Integration Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to design, modernize, and sustain integrations for a mission-critical, globally deployed identity and mobility platform. This hands-on role focuses on complex system-to-system integrations across Java microservices, event-driven architectures, edge environments, and cloud platforms, with TS/SCI clearance required.

Qualifications

Eight or more years in software engineering or systems integration.
Hands-on experience building Java-based distributed services.
Proven API integration and event-driven messaging experience.
Experience in high-availability, mission-critical environments.
Knowledge of authentication, certificate-based security, and observability.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain integrations between platform and third-party systems using REST and messaging.
Modernize legacy integrations into Java-based microservices.
Build integrations across edge, data center, and AWS deployments.
Ensure resilience, observability, and fault-tolerance across tiers.
Collaborate with software, cloud, network, QA, and security teams.
Define interface contracts, schemas, and retry/idempotency strategies.
Troubleshoot issues across application, data, messaging, and network layers.
Provide technical leadership in a highly collaborative environment.
