Job summary

Daifuku Airport America Corporation in Novi, MI is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer III to lead the design, integration, and commissioning of AGVs and AMRs for manufacturing, warehousing, airports, and entertainment applications.

The role requires collaboration with sales, estimating, and design teams, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate requirements into robust, cost-effective systems. Significant travel may be required.

Qualifications

• AS or equivalent engineering experience required.
• BS in Engineering preferred; AGV/AMR experience preferred.
• Travel up to 30-50%, including international travel to Canada and Mexico.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform system integration of AGVs, AMRs and peripheral equipment at customer locations.
• Design, install, test, debug, and commission complex system solutions.
• Review customer project specifications and write design documentation.
• Define scope of work and prepare system layout drawings and illustrations.
• Prepare RFQ and specification documentation for equipment and machinery.
• Identify risks and ensure on-time, on-cost delivery.
