Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to support the MDA Chief Engineer by integrating and coordinating complex engineering efforts across internal and external systems.

The role requires US citizenship with an active secret clearance, a STEM degree, and 7+ years in systems integration, including IPTs and TIMs. MBSE tools experience and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

Job description

MTSI is looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Systems Integration Engineer to join our team! In this role you will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Chief Engineer in the effort of integrating, and coordinating, complex engineering efforts involving both internal and external systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist to facilitate integration between internal and external systems
• Contribute to an Engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT)
• Coordinate with technical POCs to facilitate cross-team communication
• Develop tools and processes to capture relevant metrics
• Evaluate working group technical outputs to determine progress or status
• Evaluate how decisions might impact schedule, dependencies, and integrated testing

Required Qualifications

• US citizenship and an active secret clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in STEM
• 7+ years of experience
• MDA (or DoW) Experience
• Experience supporting IPTs and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs)
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Experience with systems integration

Preferred Qualifications

• Adept with some MBSE tools (Cameo, DOORs, etc.)
• Experience briefing and interacting with senior leaders
• Experience developing digital tools or dashboards
