Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a skilled Model-Based Systems Engineering Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency Chief Engineer in transforming engineering approaches.

The role emphasizes MBSE tool usage to move away from document-driven methods and to build robust system models. The ideal candidate has extensive MBSE experience, holds an Active Secret clearance, and can collaborate across internal and external teams to advance modeling efforts in national defense

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM field is required.
• 7+ years of experience.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Strong Model-based engineering experience is required.
• Ability to excel in a team setting is required.
• Experience with Interface or Interoperability engineering domains is preferred.

General Overview:

MTSI is looking for a skilled and motivated Model-Based Systems Engineering Analyst to join our team! In this role you will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Chief Engineer in transforming the way in which the agency approaches engineering. The ideal candidate has strong experience working with MBSE tools and is interested in utilizing those tools to help move the agency away from document-driven engineering.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with capturing and developing new system models to become the backbone for how MDA will approach future engineering efforts.
• Leverage your skills with a variety of MBSE tools.
• Coordinate with internal, and external teams to collaborate on models.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM field
• 7+ years of experience
• Active Secret clearance
• Strong Model-based engineering experience
• Ability to excel in a team setting
• Experience with Interface or Interoperability engineering domains

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Expertise in MBSE Tools (SysML, Cameo, MathWorks Simulink, MATLAB, Visio, ModelCenter, etc.)
