Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking an Engineering Department Manager for the SI&DE BEE to lead a team of senior technical leaders across multiple programs. The role focuses on technical leadership, program execution, and staffing across diverse locations, with a 25% travel expectation.

The position requires an active Secret clearance, a strong background in SEIT, EPM, and related roles, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8+ years of experience.
• Master’s degree with 6+ years experience.
• Experience in SIGINT, Cyber, Non-Kinetic, or related mission areas.
• Proven technical leadership across multiple lifecycle phases.
• Deep knowledge of program execution, baselining, staffing, metrics, and training resources.
• Experience leading diverse technical teams across multiple locations.
• Experience in engineering leadership processes and tailoring.

Responsibilities

• Support SI&DE Operating Unit as Engineering Department Manager, providing people leadership for technical leaders.
• Ensure rigorous planning, baselines, cost/schedule management, metrics and issue resolution.
• Develop technical leaders to ensure business success.
• Oversee administration for the SI&DE BEE organization including budgets and staffing.
• Collaborate with leaders to share best practices and implement standards.
