Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager in Yorba Linda, CA. The role leads the Systems Engineering team and coordinates multi-system efforts across radar, telemetry, and communications domains. The ideal candidate will have SSP/SPALT knowledge, MBSE familiarity, and the ability to travel up to 25% to support customer design reviews and proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree with substantial systems engineering experience.
• Active US Secret clearance or higher is required.
• Experience leading multi-person engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for Systems Engineering team.
• Directly manage and review work of reportees to meet goals.
• Provide input on hiring, promotion, and performance decisions.
• Communicate policies across teams to gain cooperation.
• Mentor less experienced Systems Engineers.
• Lead multiple systems engineering efforts concurrently.
• Experience with SSP SPALT, PAD, Coordination Drawing, and Ordnance Document process.
• Work on SSP Flight Instrumentation Systems including Radar and Telemetry.
• Contribute to customer design reviews and proposals.
• Travel up to 25%.
