Job summary

Central Business Solutions, Inc. seeks a senior Systems Engineer to lead a skilled team supporting multiple business areas in defense and aerospace.

You will translate customer requirements into verifiable system level requirements and guide trade studies. You will forecast manpower needs, guide staffing, manage budgets, and collaborate with program management and customers to deliver technically robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 12+ years of related experience, or a Graduate Degree with 10+ years.
• Experience leading diverse engineering teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to forecast manpower and staffing needs for programs.
• Experience with budgets and proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a diverse team of technical engineers.
• Forecast manpower needs based on program demand.
• Determine hiring needs and onboard needed System Engineers.
• Facilitate interaction between project engineers, program management and customers.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to communicate technical information to senior management.
• Represent the company in interactions with military and commercial customers.
• Review program budgets and schedules.
• Lead systems engineering trade studies and ensure requirements traceability.
