Job summary

Integra LifeSciences seeks a senior Systems Engineering Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team in product development within the medical device sector. You will drive team development, governance of systems engineering processes, and collaboration with stakeholders to align solutions with market needs.

The role oversees new product development deliverables and defines the technical vision for navigated medical devices, while ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with minimum 15 years' multi-disciplinary design experience.
• Master's degree in systems engineering.
• Minimum 4 years as Hardware, Software, Mechanical, or Biomedical engineer.
• Minimum 3 years leading a Systems Engineering team.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Medical device development experience preferred.
• Agile environment development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop Systems Engineering team, including coaching and performance management of direct reports.
• Establish and maintain Systems Engineering processes, tools, procedures, and representation in organizational reviews.
• Engage with internal and external customers to understand market needs and ensure solutions align with procedures.
• Oversee new product development deliverables and technical vision for navigated medical devices.
• Communicate business opportunities and ensure team compliance with applicable guidelines.
