Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Bellevue, NE seeks a Systems Engineering Manager 2 to lead a Section within SDS Systems Engineering. The role combines people leadership with technical program work on ICBM-related projects, including mentorship and staffing responsibilities.

The candidate should have a STEM degree with extensive MBSE experience, a active Secret clearance, and the ability to manage a team of engineers across multiple disciplines while supporting a 9/80 work schedule and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and a minimum 8 years of related experience, or master's with 6 years of related experience.
• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application with ability to obtain SAP approval.
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering tools (Cameo), Requirements Management (DOORS), Verification Planning and Interface definition.

Responsibilities

• Provide ownership for people, processes, and tools to support SDS programs.
• Mentor and staff a Functional Home Room consisting of 8–12 ICs.
• Lead a Section Manager role with ~20% FHR duties and 80% technical assignment on SDS projects.
