Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Clearfield, UT is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to analyze weapon system data for the Minuteman III program. You will develop visualizations, reports, and briefings to leadership on status, risks, and performance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s (5 years) or Master’s degree in STEM with data analytics experience and DoD/air force collaboration. A DoD Secret clearance is preferred, and the position supports 9/80 schedule with potential relocation

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with data analytics, automation, or coding.
• Experience with DoD/Air Force data and security clearance processes.
• Experience designing data models and reports for large datasets.
• Experience using data visualization tools for leadership briefing.
• Experience working with multi-source data and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Develop approaches to analyzing weapon system data with statistics and data analysis.
• Analyze failure and performance data across ICBM subsystems.
• Develop visualizations and reports to show MMIII data trends and results.
• Prepare presentations and brief leadership on status of weapon system data and risks.
• Lead risk management of weapon system parts and subsystems.
• Engage with Air Force customers to meet their needs and provide insights.
