Job summary

Dematic is seeking a highly experienced Expert Systems Engineer to join our high‑tech, solution‑driven team. You will lead technical validation, testing, and integration of the Dematic solution, working with interdisciplinary groups and customers from multiple field offices.

You will craft system specifications, define interfaces, coordinate simulations, and drive comprehensive testing programs across FAT, emulation, and system integration efforts, ensuring reliable throughput and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Controls, or Software Engineering.
• Master or Advanced Degree in Engineering preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.
• Ability to create clear technical documentation and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for validation from sales turnover to project execution.
• Participate in engineering discussions and project activities.
• Attend and facilitate layout discussions with customers.
• Attend and facilitate controls discussions with customers.
• Support Functional Description Specification Workshops with customers.
• Generate System Specifications for customer approval.
• Define interfaces between hardware, software, controls, IT, and subsystems.
• Coordinate simulation updates and integrate results into the project.
• Create and manage test planning and execution across FAT, emulation, and integration tests.
• Oversee system throughput and acceptance testing.
• Guide system tuning and adjustments.
