Job summary
Dematic is seeking a creative, results-driven Systems Engineer to impact a high-tech solution-oriented organization. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team that validates our solution and drives testing and delivery to customers, including validation at turnover from Sales to Project execution.
The role requires 7+ years in engineering (Electrical/Controls/Software), with a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Controls, or Software Engineering is required (or an acceptable alternative).
- Master or Advanced Degree in Engineering is preferred.
- 7+ years of engineering experience, with material handling industry experience preferred.
- Ability to lead, communicate effectively, and interact with customers.
Responsibilities
- Validate as-sold concepts during turnover from Sales to Project execution.
- Lead engineering discussions and participate in project activities.
- Facilitate layout, controls, and workshop discussions with customers.
- Define interfaces between HW/SW/Controls/IT/Subs and coordinate simulations.
- Create and execute system test plans (FAT, emulation, system integration, throughput, acceptance).
- Guide system tuning and adjustments.
