Job summary

VTG GmbH in Chantilly, VA seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer with TS/SCI clearance to provide Tier 2–4 support for a hybrid-cloud mission infrastructure. You will manage Linux servers, VMware vCenter/NSX-T, AD, DNS, DFS, DHCP, and Windows servers in a mission-critical environment, ensuring security posture and STIG compliance.

The role involves coordinating engineering projects, working with Splunk, McAfee ePO, ServiceNow, and cloud integration across on-prem and AWS resources.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• BS degree and 8+ years of relevant experience
• Experience providing Tier 2–4 technical support for technology products and applications
• Experience leading engineering activities involving Linux servers and workstations
• Experience configuring and managing VMware vCenter and NSX-T
• Experience coordinating engineering projects and performing risk assessments
• Experience operating and maintaining: Active Directory, DNS, DFS, DHCP
• Experience maintaining DISA STIGs and security posture requirements
• Experience with Splunk, Check_MK, McAfee ePO, BitLocker
• Experience managing requirements using ServiceNow

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth Tier 2 through Tier 4 support and problem resolution for technology products, infrastructure, and applications
• Lead and perform engineering activities involving Linux servers and workstations
• Configure, administer, and maintain VMware vCenter and VMware NSX-T environments
• Perform Tier 3 engineering and support for virtualization infrastructure, including virtual servers, VDI, and automation solutions
• Operate and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DFS, and DHCP; maintain Windows Group Policy
• Build and maintain Windows servers within an AWS environment
• Deploy and maintain system configuration standards per security posture and DISA STIGs
• Work with Splunk, Check_MK, McAfee ePO, and BitLocker
• Manage requirements using ServiceNow; coordinate engineering projects and risk assessments
• Support incident tracking, management, troubleshooting, and resolution across multiple tiers
