Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 3 to advance customer operations. The role involves lifecycle engineering from conception to decommissioning within enterprise IT, collaborating with driven colleagues and leveraging extensive domain expertise.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in CS/Math/Engineering, 10+ years of related experience, and TS/SCI with poly clearance. Onsite location in Annapolis Junction, MD with full-flex work options where possible.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Math, or related field.
• TS/SCI with poly clearance required.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide domain expertise throughout all software and process engineering phases
• Develop detailed design documents in the form of system CONOPs, ICDs, data-flow diagrams, and system/component-level design diagrams
• Integrate engineering specialties into the systems development process
• Develop and build metadata object and business logic models, provide data element dictionaries, create, document, and publish XML schemas, (ICDs, and Data Model Requirements)
• Provide system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance
