Job summary

Onyx Point, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Systems Engineer with an active TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph clearance and U.S. citizenship.

You will design, implement, and maintain DevOps resources across multiple product teams, and automate builds and deployments using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and GitLab CI/CD. The role focuses on AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters (EKS), and logging/monitoring with Elasticsearch and Grafana/Prometheus.

Qualifications

• 20 years experience as a SE in programs similar in scope and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; 5 years additional SE experience may substitute for degree

Responsibilities

• Developing Infrastructure As Code and scripting to automate tasks, provision managed services, and build tools
• Install, configure, and provide performance tuning utilizing Kubernetes and cloud native logging and metrics collection tools
• Managing GitLab CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deploying code
• Managing cloud computing platforms (AWS)
• Communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders
