Job summary

Onyx Point, Inc. seeks an Architect to design, deploy, and maintain robust cloud environments, primarily in AWS, while supporting existing on‑premise infrastructure. This role requires active TS/SCI with full-scope poly.

You will manage Windows and Linux systems, and integrate SaltStack with CI/CD pipelines to keep CI/CD and cloud resources stable. Experience: 20+ years as a Systems Engineer in similar scope; 5 years can substitute for a BA. Education: bachelor's in a related field is required.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of Systems Engineering experience in large-scale programs and contracts.
• Proven experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
• 5 years of additional SE experience can substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline is required.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud environments, primarily AWS, with on-premise support.
• Oversee Windows Server 2022/Windows 10/11 and Linux distributions across cloud/on‑premise.
• Integrate SaltStack with CI/CD pipelines and manage core AWS resources (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Route 53).
