Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for Threat Discrimination to support the Missile Defense Agency. You will provide systems technical analysis to develop new capabilities for identifying lethal objects and work within a multi-discipline team.

Required are a STEM Master's degree, 12+ years of experience, and active DoD Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret/SCI. Expertise in radar processing and risk analysis is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) required.
• 12+ years of related professional experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required; ability to qualify for Top Secret/SCI.
• Experience in radar signal processing and electronic protection.
• Experience in systems engineering analysis and requirements development.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical analysis and support for MDA discrimination capabilities.
• Work with multi-discipline teams and manage project schedules.
• Develop options to improve the Missile Defense System's discrimination and electronic protection.
