Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for Threat Discrimination to support the Missile Defense Agency. You will provide systems technical analysis to develop new capabilities for identifying lethal objects within the Missile Defense System.

The role requires a Master’s in STEM, 12+ years of experience, and active DoD Secret clearance, with the ability to qualify for Top Secret/SCI. Expertise in radar signal processing, systems engineering analysis, risk assessment, and electronic

Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM field required.
• 12+ years of related professional experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Ability to quickly qualify for Top Secret/SCI clearance if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical analysis and support to MDA's Counter- Countermeasures and Discrimination Directorate.
• Develop options for improving the Missile Defense System's discrimination and electronic protection capabilities.
• Work within a multi-discipline, multi-source/industry team to advance system capabilities.
