Job summary

Cubic Corporation is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer – Technical Operations to provide advanced systems engineering, operations support, and cybersecurity sustainment for a global DoD ISR program. You will work with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and government stakeholders to maintain mission-critical infrastructure and ensure security and readiness.

The role requires a DoD clearance, 6+ years of enterprise DoD experience, and 4+ years in Tier III ops.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• 6+ years supporting enterprise DoD or Intelligence Community systems.
• 4+ years providing Tier III systems engineering or technical operations support.
• Experience planning and executing enterprise security patching.
• Strong Linux and Windows administration, virtualization, networking, and storage skills.
• Experience with DISA STIGs, RMF controls, and vulnerability remediation using ACAS/Tenable.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier III engineering support for enterprise systems, applications, networking, virtualization, and storage.
• Plan, test, and implement OS, application, firmware, and security patches across environments.
• Remediate vulnerabilities per DISA STIGs and RMF timelines.
• Troubleshoot Linux, Windows, network, storage, and app issues.
• Support systems integration, technology refresh, and lifecycle sustainment.
• Analyze vulnerability findings and verify remediation.
• Support change/configuration management and engineering docs.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Provide engineering support to worldwide operations and Field Service Representatives.
• Assist with technical proposals, engineering estimates, and modernization efforts.
