Job summary

Cubic Corporation on Ford Island, Hawaii, seeks a Field System Engineer to serve as the senior onsite technical authority supporting AISR FMV mission systems. The role requires deep technical acumen, independent decision‑making, and close collaboration with DoW and IC stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electronics, computer science, information systems or equivalent with 7–8 years of relevant experience.
Experience supporting DoW or military operational environments preferred.
Ability to operate in remote OCONUS field settings and communicate effectively with DoW/IC stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Serve as onsite technical SME for FMV architectures and diagnose, recover, and optimize mission systems.
Lead end‑to‑end engineering for software, networks, middleware, virtualization, and Linux services.
Maintain CDS configurations for secure data transfer across classified networks.
Provide incident updates, performance metrics, and risk assessments to leadership.
